Natural Pigments

Recently I started creating my own natural pigments while travelling off road with my family.
It's a new challenge for me, and I really enjoy it!

I am always amazed to see all the contrast and the panel of colors I am able to create with the raw materials I find during my travels. I carefully select rocks, caringly ground and sift them to get a fine and vibrant pigment._

Painting with natural pigments isn’t just more sustainable — it also brings me joy to create everything from earth to finished artwork. 
I feel closer to nature; making this natural paint feels sensual, grounding, and deeply satisfying. The pieces seem more alive, with a unique intensity of color and light.

I currently live in Madagascar, a beautiful land with strong energies, energies that flow through me and into my paintings. Some of my paintings now not only carry the energies of Madagascar but also a fragment of its land.
